　　You can study full time, part time or online. We've got business courses at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, as well as professional courses. With accreditation from the major professional bodies, you can study while you're working to get ahead in your career.
　　Undergraduate

　　Our undergraduate Business courses are an integrated suite of programmes that have been designed so that you can choose the type and depth of course that you want.

　　* A specialist single honours degree is for you if you know where your career is going, and you want to study so that you get the maximum amount of exemptions from the professional body examinations which you may take once you have got started in your career. Take a look at BA (Hons) Marketing Management, BA (Hons) Human Resource Management or BA (Hons) Accounting and Finance.
　　* If you know which area of business you’d like to specialise in, but you also feel that a general business knowledge would be of benefit to your career, you could opt for one of our business bracketed degrees – eg, BA (Hons) Business (Marketing). These new courses also contain an element of work-related learning, which means that you can apply your learning to your current part time job or any experience you’ve had with an organisation in the past. For example, this may be analysing the organisational structure of the business, or doing an assignment on the financial viability of a project.
　　* Perhaps you’d like the flexibility of studying two or more subjects in depth and from completely different areas, such as Business Psychology and Theatre Studies? If that’s the case, then you should study on our Joint Honours programme.
　　* Finally, if you want to keep your options open, but know that you want a general business grounding, have a look at BA (Hons) Business Management and BA (Hons) Business Studies. Both of these courses will give you an excellent start to your business career and allow you the flexibility to specialise in certain areas in your third year if you wish to. The BA (Hons) Business Studies also has options so that you can study part time, online or fast track.

　　Postgraduate

　　Our Management Masters courses, and the MBA, at Derby are held in high regard by our students and business alike. As part of your full time Masters course you’ll go on a Residential weekend at the start of your study. This is excellent fun and a great way to get to know everybody else and the lecturers on your course!
